Community Screenings
Organizations that host a film screening get the benefit of engaging their membership and community in a fun and informative event about a critical issue. They are empowered to activate their communities to stop tar sand and oil shale strip mining from gaining traction in America! Film screenings can also be utilized as excellent fundraising tools for your organization or cause.
A $100 screening fee is requested for each screening; if that fee is cost prohibitive for your group, please contact us and we will find a way to work with you! Fees can be contributed through this website or mailed to:

Screening Host organizations are responsible for:
- event logistics and costs: securing venue and acquiring equipment
- ticket sales
- promoting event with website, newsletter, social media, etc
- printing posters and hanging them in your community
- leading media outreach
- soliciting sponsorships to raise additional funds for your cause (not required)
- paid advertising (not required)
Director is responsible for:
- providing the film in a format compatible with event needs
- promoting event with website, social media, etc
- providing customizable poster graphics
- collaborating with host organization on media outreach
- availability for media interviews prior to the event
